Projections

Projections are a powerful feature of RecordGrade. They allow the teacher to create a dynamic roadmap of the courses a student needs to graduate.

Creating Projections

To create a projection, go Students>Projection. Click ‘New’ to create a new Projection. First you must select which student the projection is for. Students may have any number of projections, and you can use the optional description field to keep track of the different projections for a student. A projection can have any number of Years. Each year has both Course assignments, and Lab assignments. (Courses are graded, Labs are not). You can add any number of courses and labs to each year, along with the number of credits they plan to take for that year. While you can put any amount of credits down, the system will alert you if you project more credits for a course or lab than it is worth.

Printing Projections

To print a projection, go to Student>Projection and click ‘View’ on the projection you wish to print. From there you may print the projection.
